We invite you to an adventurous trek to Bhairavgad (Moroshi) on 4th of December 2011

Trivia

Height : 2835 ft above msl
Grade : Difficult (technical)
Base Village : Malshejghat Moroshi
The prominent wall that stands tall in front of the Malshejghat range is the Bhairavgad.
Owing to the strategic location, it served as the watch tower guarding then extensively in use trade route the Malshej ghat.
The entrance of the fort was destroyed by British and hence now to scale it one has to overcome a rock patch. Above the patch rock cut steps leads one to the top of the fort. The steps are also tricky and face exposure at places one has to be very careful throughout.
The top is a small flat on which there is cactus overgrowth. Heavy wind blows here almost in every season.
The view of the Naneghat Range and the forts in Malshejghat like Harishchandragad, Sindola ect is the experience of life time.

Meeting Point : Kalyan Depot 10.00pm sharp on 3rd of December 2011
01.00am : Reach Moroshi
01.15am : Proceed to Base Bhairobachi Wadi,
03.00am : Reach the Base
06.00am : Good Moring, Break Fast
07.00am : Ascend Bhairavgad
10.30pm : Reach Atop
11.30pm : Start Descending , Lunch On the way
03.30pm : Reach Moroshi
07.00pm : Reaach Kalyan
07.15pm : Murbad
09.00pm : Kalyan
