We invite you to an exciting trek to an exhotic location, the unexplored Bocheghol Naal on 21st of August 2011
Trivia
Height : 3000 ft above msl approx
Grade : Medium
Base Village : Pane - Sandoshi
Among one of the most extensively used ancient mountain passes in sahyadris,Bocheghol naal is one of the less explored but still in use one. The pass connects Village khanu on the ghat region with the Villages Pane and Sandoshi in Konkan.
Passing through dense forest it is the best place to observe rich flora and fauna of sahyadris. Peacocks, barking Deers, rabbits and even pugmarks of big cats were observed in our last visit to this place.
One can enjoy the parallel view of the magestic Raigad fort from here. The view of the adjoining mountains and gorges, and the waterfalls flowing through is most exciting experience.
The itinerary for the trek is as given below.
One needs to catch the Borivali - Sandoshi Bus departing at 00.00am from borivali on 21st of August.
One can do the reservation prior.
The trek Starts at Sandoshi
07.30am : Breakfast, Introduction , Start the trek
09.30am : Reach Hedmachi
10.00am : Proceed to Bocheghol Naal
01.00pm : Top, Lunch Break
01.30pm : Start Descending
04.30pm : Reach The Base Village, Proceed to mahad
05.30pm : Evening refreshment, Proceed to Mumbai - Pune
10.30 - 11.30pm : Back To Mumbai - Pune

Rs 300/- per person which Includes
Transportation from Pane to Mahad
1 Breakfasts + 1 Evening refreshments
Note : Bus fare till Sandoshi and from mahad to back is not included in the charges.
