Know your Camera : Basic Photography Workshop

OffBeat Sahyadri : Know your camera : Basic Photography Workshop under the guidance of Mr. Yuwaraj Gurjar
(Nature and wildlife Photographer)
on 14th-15th of April 2012

For most of us as trekking becomes part of life along with it photography becomes passion. The reason differs from person to person, few are more interested in fort architecture, few in landscapes and many in wildlife and biodiversity.
Along with the other trekking gear we opt for the most advance digicams or SLRs for the purpose.
We buy the camera but lack of through knowledge about the basics and easy technology forces us to start clicking on Autu mode. And then we wonder what is missing in our photos to make it stand out or have the impact amongst the others though the equipment is appropriate.
The key to better photography is nothing but right use of the exposure, shutterspeed, angle/frame and slight post processing if needed.
This is just an initiative for all those who are still fiddling with the camera setting.
This course is for beginners and hobbyist who would like to shoot good photos and like to learn the functions of their cameras. It is designed for digi-cam users and amateur DSLR users.
It has been designed to provide one with all the basic theoretical knowledge required for better photography plus a field visit has been included to allow one to practice the fundamentals practically in presence of the experts.

Mr Yuwaraj Gurjar

Since he took Nature / wildlife photography as a serious hobby some 25 years ago he has been  visiting many major National Parks and wildlife Sanctuaries of India throughout the year and in all seasons.

He is master at Micro and insect photography and his photos has got selected for exhibition and won prizes in number of national and international level photography competitions.

To his account he has published the first book on Butterflies in Marathi Language. His photo articles on nature and wildlife has been stealing spaces in News papers and magazines.  “Times of India” news paper , “Aapale Paryawaran”, “Lokprabha” to name a few.
He has Conducted photography
